Welcome to the Black Bull Hotel in Kirkby Stephen. Our friendly hotel is situated in the centre of Kirkby Stephen and has nine newly refurbished ensuite rooms and an excellent restaurant serving good hearty fare.  
  
Kirkby Stephen is an attractive market town on the banks of the River Eden. A half way point on the Wainwright's Coast to Coast long distance walk. The Pennine Bridleway and the Cumbria Cycle Way also pass through the town. Kirkby Stephen, is also an ideal location for holidays in the Lake District, The Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Pennines, and on our doorstep are many visitor attractions and a wealth of local history but many visitors just enjoy the peace and quiet of the Eden Valley.
